Objectives: By the end of this training session, the student will be familiar with RouterOS software and RouterBoard products. He will also be able to configure, manage, do basic troubleshooting of a MikroTik router and provide basic services to clients.
Target Audience: Network engineers, administrators, and technicians.
Prerequisites: Advanced Routing skills and technical ability.
About The Class
The MikroTik Certification exam will be given during the class with instant results online. The exams are open book and 60% is required to pass.
Classes will be held inside the Hotel conference rooms. The hotel has a free shuttle to and from the airport. The class is a combination of lecture and hands on labs so students are required to bring a laptop, two 5 foot Ethernet cables and a power outlet strip.
A null modem serial cable (standard 9 pin D connectors) is helpful but not necessary.
The certification exam will be given with instant test results online.
Please note: The certification exams are prepared by MikroTIk. Passing the exam will depend on fully understanding the class concepts and will require a good base knowledge of TCPIP and networks. LearnMikroTik.com is not responsible for the content of the exams or your ability to pass the exams. A grade of 60% is required to pass and the exam is given “open book”.
Overview
Class Time: 3 days, class begins Tuesday morning at 8:30 am sharp and ends with the certification test the last day by 6:00 pm. All students attending and taking an exam will receive one free RouterOS Level 4 license

There is no refund for training fee paid, if cancellation is received less than 10 days before the event.
Required Hardware
1) Each participant will be provided with a RouterBoard to work with during the class.
2) You need to bring the following items:
A laptop equipped with Ethernet port, and, if possible, a serial (COM1 or USB-to-COM) port for connecting to RouterBoard’s console; NOTE: Please install the MicroSoft .net environment on your machine prior to class!
5 Ethernet Patch Cables 2m/6ft 2pcs for connecting to the router and between neighbor routers
Power Strip for powering the laptop, router, and, possibly, your neighbor’s equipment
